L-Acoustics Training Day
This week I spent most of my time in training sessions addressing L-Acoustics's line of line array PA systems, amplifiers and software tools. The program mainly covered the systems that Solotech has a lot of. That means K1, K2, KARA, LA8, and Soundvision.
I definitely learned a lot and I'm ready to fly some PA!

Gearing back up for WeDay
This past fall I had the pleasure of being the the video system engineer for the We Day tour for yet another year. I'm always happy to be apart of We Day because each year it's always a bigger, better, more challenging design then the last, and it gives me the opportunity to shine when it comes to implementing such a large complex system.
But whenever I try to tell anyone about the show its always difficult for people to understand what it actually is... So what is We Day?
"We Day is a arena-sized educational and empowerment event that brings young people together with world leaders and entertainers to celebrate their ability to create change and to inspire another year of action"
Kinda vague? well its pretty much a cross between a youth summit and a concert withe the theme of making the world a better place.
Next week we begin the spring section of the We Day 2014/2015 tour. The spring's my favourite part, We go to San Jose, London UK, Chicago, and Seattle. All cool cities.
When we were in Saskatoon i shot a little Timelapse of the rig going up. Here's a look at the 2014/2015 We Day tour rig.

It feels great to be back in audio land
Ever since i started at Midnite Hour the company hasn't had an audio department. so needles to say I've been a bit starved or the auditory side of things. now with the addition of all this lovely PA Plus and Solotech audio gear. its time the shake off the rust and get back in there. I'm Stoked about it!

Well its been a good run but it comes as no surprise - but its official;
Midnite Hour and PA Plus hav been acquired by Solotech. It,s clear that there are some big changes taking place within the industry in Toronto. I concordat it a welcomed change.
